John Baker of the Hawthorne High
School class of 1962 in Hawthorne,
California created Cougartown for Hawthorne High
Alumni in 1997.
What began as a hobby blossomed into a website that
became a focal point for alumni throughout the world. Other high school alumni
have commented on the significance and benefit of this site.
